Chris Estrella joins PLAYNOW

PLAYNOW announces the addition of Chris Estrella to its roster. He is a DJ and producer who fuses Afro house and melodic house with Latin roots in a dancefloor-oriented proposal, arriving with a catalogue of his own on labels from the melodic circuit.

Afro and melody with a Latin accent

Born in Venezuela and based in Madrid, Chris works a refined fusion of Afro house and melodic house in which percussion and melody share the lead. His sets are conceived for the floor: constant groove, measured builds and a reading of the audience that comes from his own experience as a producer.

That dual role, DJ and producer, lets him build sets with his own repertoire and adapt the tone of the night to the venue, from a terrace format to a club closing.

Recent releases

• “I Want Your Soul” (Melodic Minds, 2025), with Giannattasio, in extended and radio edit versions.
• Sunset Gathering and We’re Here. Releases on two labels of the melodic and Afro circuit.
• “My Humps”. His club rework, with more than a million streams across platforms.

Percussion and melody in equal measure: Afro house that keeps the emotion.

What he brings to the roster

Chris strengthens the Afro and melodic line of our roster with a profile that suits three kinds of booking:

• Afro house club and terrace, with constant groove and his own repertoire.
• Daytime formats, where melodic house holds the atmosphere before the night.
• Latin and Afro line-ups, thanks to the accent of his productions and his reading of the crowd.
