COLLISION join PLAYNOW: a hybrid live act of DJ booth and piano

PLAYNOW announces that COLLISION have joined its main roster. The project of Italian twin brothers Davide and Luca Lomaglio is a hybrid live electronic act of indie dance, afro indie, house and indie tech in which the DJ booth and live piano stand on the same level. Based in Madrid, they are residents at Lula Club.

Two disciplines, one performance

They grew up in the same environment but were shaped by different disciplines. Davide comes from club culture and drives the structure, rhythm and direction of the set. Luca is classically trained and brings the discipline of the piano into a space built for movement. Together they have created a format where electronic performance and live instrumentation exist on the same level: the booth is not separate from the stage, and the piano is not decoration but part of the architecture of the set.

A live act that reacts to the room

Their sets move between precision and improvisation. Key moments are prepared, but the details are never locked: live piano sections reshape the energy of the dancefloor in real time, bringing contrast, release and unexpected turns. They are often joined by guest musicians on trumpet, voice or strings, who do not layer over the set but interact with it.

Residents at Lula Club and their COLLIDE series

In Madrid they are residents at Lula Club, home of their own series, COLLIDE by COLLISION. They have also played La Juanita (Florida Park), Forget The Club Festival and Open Air Festival at Autocine Madrid. The next COLLIDE dates are 20 November in Madrid and 12 December in Puglia, Italy.
