JP Candela: the A Summer Story set and a new track with David Hopperman
His full set from A Summer Story, in Madrid, is now on YouTube. And in November his label ĀMA Music releases a new track made with French artist David Hopperman.
JP Candela heads into the autumn with two pieces of news at once. The first is already out: the full set from his performance at A Summer Story, in Madrid, now on his YouTube channel. The second is on its way: a new track with David Hopperman, out in November on ĀMA Music, the label he runs.
The full A Summer Story set
A Summer Story is one of Madrid’s biggest electronic music festivals, and for JP Candela, born in Madrid, it means playing at home in front of one of the largest crowds of the season. The video captures the whole set, around forty minutes filmed from the booth and the pit, with a packed dancefloor in the late afternoon light.
It is a good snapshot of how he approaches the booth: house at the core, afro house and melodic house with festival-sized impact, and a journey that builds patiently to the end. The video was published on 8 July 2026 on his official channel.
New track with David Hopperman on ĀMA Music
The second piece of news comes from the studio. JP Candela has made a new track with David Hopperman, due out in November on ĀMA Music. The title and exact date will be announced in the coming weeks.
David Hopperman is a French DJ and producer with a long international career: a resident at Les Caves du Roy in Saint-Tropez, he has released on labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Armada and CR2 Records, signed to Afrojack’s Wall Recordings and played stages such as Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
- Label: ĀMA Music, JP Candela’s project, which runs as both a label and a party series at Lula Club, in Madrid.
- Release: November 2026.
- With: David Hopperman, French DJ and producer.
The track joins an ĀMA Music catalogue that over the last two years has released «Atacama», «Thar» and «Right Here», and in 2026 «Obsess», «Worth It» with Bebbo and «All I Need» with MYDOZ, also a PLAYNOW artist. His full story is in the article on his arrival on the roster.
